Feb 23: Jackpot!

Hurray!  Zone 3 this morning.  Very pretty with loads to look at even without a tiger.  A couple of large lakes, different birds, monkeys, deer, peacocks, crocodile, and Rathembore Fort thrown in.  We actually remember this Zone from our last trip here, but no tiger sighting that time.

We were coming to the last few minutes before our allotted time in the park was up ( everyone must be out by 10am - we joked that the animals know what time we leave, then that's when they come out to play!). 

Then suddenly a tiger was sighted - and the chase was on ... As along with 8 other jeeps there was lots of dust, locking of fenders and crazy jostling, all to see a beautiful female tiger.  Exciting end to our Rathembore stay.
